About Owethu
I take my role as an educator seriously, and I will approach every class with preparation, fairness, and respect for your time and effort. I hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, which has equipped me with the foundational skills and methodologies to effectively teach English. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their speaking, reading, and writing abilities. I am committed to your success and will bring preparation, fairness, and respect to every class. While I do not claim to know everything, I will teach what I know thoroughly, be transparent when I am unsure, and guide you towards reliable resources. My methodology is student-centred and communicative. I focus on building confidence through interactive, practical lessons tailored to each learner's goals. What makes me unique is my ability to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes because that's where real learning happens.
I teach in English.
Lessons begin with a warm-up conversation, followed by focused work on speaking, reading, or writing based on the student's needs. Students can expect a supportive, structured session with practical exercises and clear feedback.
I teach all levels from beginners to advanced learners including children, teenagers, and adults seeking conversational or business English.
