First of all I will explain complete subject in brief to my students so that they got idea what they are supposed to learn in coming days. I will tell them importance of subject to make teaching more interesting. I believe in using diagrams, flow charts and expressions to explain topics. Because the same are easy to remember and to understand.

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

I come from an Electronics and VLSI background, and my interest in this field developed during my undergraduate studies, when I was first introduced to core subjects like Digital Electronics, Analog Circuits, and Semiconductor Devices. I was fascinated by how abstract mathematical concepts translate into real-world hardware and integrated circuits that power everyday technology.

As I progressed further, subjects such as VLSI design, CMOS technology, and system-level understanding deepened my curiosity. I enjoyed analyzing circuits at both the device and architectural levels, which motivated me to explore the subject in greater depth. Teaching and solving problems strengthened my conceptual clarity even more, and I realized that guiding students through fundamentals and logical reasoning was something I genuinely enjoyed. Over time, this combination of strong fundamentals, problem-solving, and teaching experience shaped my long-term interest and expertise in Electronics and VLSI.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

My motivation to choose teaching comes from my own learning journey as a student. I have seen how the right guidance can completely change a student’s understanding and confidence in a subject, especially in core technical areas like Electronics and VLSI.

During my academic and professional experience, I realized that many students struggle not because the subject is difficult, but because concepts are not explained from first principles. This inspired me to teach in a way that anticipates students’ doubts and builds concepts step by step.

The real motivation comes from seeing students grow—when a complex topic starts making sense to them and they gain the confidence to solve problems independently. Helping students develop strong fundamentals and a logical approach to problem-solving is what drives me to continue teaching with passion and dedication.
  • How does your work help society?

My work helps society by strengthening the foundation of technical education. By teaching Maths, Electronics and VLSI with clarity and a strong focus on fundamentals, I help students develop problem-solving skills and logical thinking, which are essential for innovation and technological progress.

Well-trained engineers contribute directly to society by designing reliable electronic systems used in healthcare, communication, energy, and everyday consumer technology. Through teaching, I indirectly support these advancements by preparing students to become competent, ethical, and confident professionals.

In addition, I aim to reduce fear and confusion around core engineering subjects by making learning structured and concept-driven. When students truly understand a subject, they perform better academically and professionally, which ultimately benefits industry and society as a whole.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

I do not model my work after a single individual, but I am deeply influenced by the teachers and mentors I have learned from throughout my academic journey. Their clarity of thought, patience, and ability to simplify complex concepts left a lasting impact on me.

From them, I learned that effective teaching is not just about delivering content, but about understanding how students think, where they may struggle, and guiding them step by step toward conceptual clarity. I try to reflect these values in my own teaching by focusing on fundamentals, logical reasoning, and consistent practice.

My role model is therefore the idea of an ideal teacher—one who inspires curiosity, builds confidence, and empowers students to become independent learners and problem-solvers.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Outside teaching, I enjoy activities that help me stay mentally active and balanced.
In my free time, I like listening to music and taking short walks, which help me relax and maintain focus. These hobbies keep me motivated, refreshed, and better prepared to give my best to my students.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

One memorable experience from my teaching journey was with a student who initially found core Electronics subjects overwhelming and lacked confidence in problem-solving. Instead of moving quickly through the syllabus, I focused on rebuilding the basics from first principles and encouraged the student to ask questions without hesitation.

Over time, the student began to anticipate steps in problem-solving and could explain concepts in their own words. The real moment of satisfaction came when the student independently solved a problem they once believed was “too difficult.” Seeing that transformation—from confusion to confidence—reinforced my belief that patient, concept-driven teaching can make a lasting difference.

This experience continues to motivate me and shapes the way I approach every class.
