About Lorelei
I’m am a 9th grader who currently holds a 4.0 GPA and previously received the department math award that was only given to 6 middle school students within my school. I have also received high praise on my work and my communication skills that helped me additionally receive the communicator award within my school last year. Though I have never officially tutored I have still assisted many of my classmates in understanding information taught in class in and outside of school hours.

Diving into my possible plans for a lesson is entirely flexible but it may follow what is listed below!
This entirely depends on the grade im teaching and their understanding originally but if they are having trouble with majority of the information I would start with giving a few practice problems that include the point of study. Then I would use there answers to assess what they struggle with the most. Using this information I would then teach the basics of the subject and go farther in debt to the specific parts they struggle with. From then I would explain the vocabulary terms associated, and any shortcuts that may make solving easier. From then I would give more practice problems to see how far they have progressed in the learning and repeat most of the process until they fully understand the information taught.
Another possible process is if the parent has something planned or has a set way they would like there student to follow! I don’t mind any method since I can be quite flexible as long as the student can well understand the learning method. We could even just go over everything that was taught at school, review parts that may have caused your child confusion, and make it easier to understand. Then we could even complete any homework that was scheduled and during the process we go over the methods that were taught so the homework could be efficiently completed.
As stated this all depends on personal preference and what works best to ensure your student is learning as efficiently as possible! I will do my best to use my communication, problem solving, and knowledgeable skills to ensure your student is getting the best experience someone my level could possibly offer!
