My focus would be on communicative activities that are used in real-life like problem-solving activities, discussions, role plays, or doing projects. I'll do my best to give my students support and feedback as they need to complete the real life activities successfully.This technique will help students to use language for meaningful communication, but not memorizing rules or word lists.
Lesson Plan: Speaking Skills (Elementary, 1 Student)
Activity 1: Animal Introduction - Student describes favorite animal using simple sentences and adjectives.
Activity 2: Animal Comparison - Student compares favorite animal to another animal using size, color, and other features.
Activity 3: Drawing & Description - Student draws an imaginary animal and describes it to teacher.
Testing: Participation, and use of what the student has learnt creatively.
What sets me apart is making an English class a place for learners where they experience their most joyfull moments in their life.
I teach all levels and ages from 10.
