About Philippa
I was lucky enough to attend an English speaking school as a child and spend some time in Great Britain during 9th Grade. Causing most of my close friends to be native English speakers.
In return I grew up speaking, reading and even dreaming in English.
After graduating from school, I moved to England for several months and worked there.
Now I live and study in Germany and really miss speaking English every day and teaching others how to enjoy this language. I would like to enable myself to do this as part of private tuition and hopefully help others at school, at university or in everyday life.

I, myself had the chance to grow up learning English almost like my mother tongue. Therefore I believe, that learning a language through conversation, stories, movies, and writing is more useful in getting a feel for the language than bluntly memorizing vocabulary and grammar.
