Eagerness is a strength that is often underrated, and underappreciated. I appreciate this student's eagerness to learn and take the time needed to do so.
I feel like this student merely needs to tighten his focus more on the individual task at hand to make progress forward. As humans, our default instinct is to look at the finish line instead of the ground in front of our feet. But when it comes to making progress towards that finish line, it is often daunting and that causes us to freeze. This is where I think this student needs to improve.
