About Matthew
I have been teaching in some form for over four years. I have been a teaching assistant for Anatomy & Physiology in the past and provided office hours to teach students individually. I was an 8th grade science teacher specializing in the physical sciences. I have also tutored in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry. I have seen students dramatically improve their grades in these sciences based on their work with me. By taking a personal interest in students and learning where their greatest strengths and areas of growth are, I help elevate students to a knew level. In a regular classroom, students cannot get this individual attention.

I have taught students from middle school age to adults. I have covered the physical sciences, biology, and anatomy & physiology. I provide individualized instruction based on your personal preferences, strengths, and areas of desired growth. My lessons are student-centered and based on the most up to date research in science education. I make lessons interesting and relevant to you. Without relevance, it becomes difficult to learn and internalize information. My goal is to make you as interested in science as I am and to unlock the potential science has to play a significant role in your life.
