About Mari Rikke
I have worked with classical music, both early music, opera arias, church music and more, as well as some improvisation, musicals, Norwegian folk songs and jazz.
I have a master's degree, where I have, among other things, helped start an opera café, participated in productions both with choirs, musicals, traditional concerts and more experimental performances. I also have a year's study in drama, where we worked a lot with improvisation and presentation.
I have also sung a lot of church music and been in vocal groups, and in many different choirs.

A singing lesson can last between 20 and 80 minutes, depending on what the student wants. I focus on good singing technique, in addition to communication and enjoyment of music.
My background is from the master's program in classical singing at the University of Agder, with teacher training from the Norwegian Academy of Music, but I teach several genres, based on what the student wants.
I teach at all levels and age groups. I can also teach small groups or duets if desired.
