I teach piano and keyboard. I'm Classically trained and have been playing piano for 10 years! I'm 17 and yes, I'm young, but that doesn't matter as long as you're learning something!

About OriginalPrankster
Hi, I've been playing piano since I was 7 and it was rocky at first. I did not want to learn, I wanted to quit, but my mom pushed my sister and me to keep growing our craft. That being said I have stopped and started piano but I always have people in my corner to help remind me to keep doing the thing that I can become great at! Playing the piano can be something to explore and grow from. I also play tennis and go to an After-School Program called "Stax Music Academy", it's great, that's where I learned a lot of important skills to become better and grow.

It's important to start off with a good fundamental base, like which fingers to use and how to naturally rest your hands on the piano/keyboard. We need to know what we're playing so we have to learn notes, which means music theory, which breaks down everything and shows you what to play and how to play it!
