I teach in partnership with the student. Your goals become mine. However I do give advice along the way in goal setting to ensure they are achievable and sustainable given the students current situation in life and music.
A learning plan is developed with the student. Flexibility is important
I use whatever tools are needed both physical(charts/guitar) and virtual (you tube etc).
I have tutored for decades.
