About Noor
I'm an LSE graduate in Economics and Social Policy, now teaching full-time on the Teach First programme. Teach First places graduates in classrooms to raise attainment and widen opportunity, and that mission is exactly why I do this work: I care deeply about social mobility, and about tutoring as a way to level the playing field.
I believe every student is capable of achieving the top grades, whatever their starting point. It usually isn't a question of ability, but of the right explanation, the right structure, and someone who genuinely believes they can get there. My job is to provide all three.
Those grades matter because of what they unlock. Strong results in Maths and Economics open doors to the best universities, courses, and careers, and can genuinely change the direction of a student's life. I take that responsibility seriously, and I bring the same rigour, preparation, and care to every lesson that I bring to my own classroom.

My approach is to make things genuinely simple. I break each topic down into its basic parts and explain it in plain English, building up clear chains of reasoning so the ideas actually make sense rather than being memorised. Lessons run online on a shared whiteboard, where we work through the diagrams and models together and I draw everything out as we go. Depending on your needs, we'll mix content teaching, revision, past paper practice, and essay technique, so your time is always spent where it helps most.
Lessons typically run for an hour, though we can adjust this to suit you.
