I use the following books Me & My Piano, Guitar Basics, Guitar Songbook, Piano Grade 1 ABRSM & Site Reading. Guitar basics has audio tracks we can play along to with my speaker.
My ethos is that my lessons are your lessons. If you want to be completely led I am happy to do so, if you want to learn something specific that is also fine. Learning instruments is about finding joy in what you are doing, if you want to achieve an outcome then that's a bonus and a great thing to work towards. I value enjoyment, fun, learning new things and commitment. I work with people of all ages to develop their ability to play their instrument, and this brings confidence into their wider life. I am a band leader with my own band and I actively gig and record. I am a songwriter who plays piano, guitar, saxophone, sing and drums.
