About Diana
With 7 years of teaching and performing experience, I am a passionate violin tutor committed to helping students achieve both technical proficiency and a deep appreciation for music. I teach school and college students of all levels, from beginners learning their first notes to advanced learners preparing for recitals, exams, and competitions.
One of the highlights of my career has been guiding students from struggling with posture, rhythm, and technique to confident performers capable of delivering expressive and polished performances. My teaching emphasizes strong foundations, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also fostering creativity, emotional expression, and musical interpretation.
I integrate music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and listening exercises to ensure students develop a holistic understanding of music. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style, creating a supportive and inspiring environment that encourages growth, exploration, and discipline. Teaching violin allows me to inspire confidence, cultivate passion, and help students develop skills that last a lifetime.

I teach violin using a methodology centered on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to foster technically proficient, expressive, and confident musicians. Lessons are tailored to each student’s abilities, goals, and interests, combining structured practice with creative exploration and performance opportunities.
Motivation is essential. I encourage students to set meaningful goals, monitor progress, and celebrate achievements, cultivating perseverance, self-confidence, and engagement. Communication ensures lessons are interactive and supportive, allowing students to ask questions, express challenges, and share musical ideas freely.
Creativity is emphasized throughout the curriculum. Improvisation, composition, and interpretation exercises help students develop their unique artistic voice and emotional connection to music. Integrity reinforces disciplined practice, responsible effort, and respect for learning, fostering habits that encourage long-term success.
In addition to violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic piano, giving students a well-rounded musical foundation. This methodology nurtures technical skill, artistic expression, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.
