About Rhys
As a seasoned Guitar Tutor with years of experience teaching students of all levels and ages, over the years I have helped many aspiring musicians realise their musical dreams, whether it’s to learn to play for pleasure or preparing for performances or auditions. I have a wealth of experience teaching multiple genres including rock, pop, blues and jazz. I also have a keen ear for identifying areas of improvement that can take students' playing to the next level. In addition to teaching, I am an accomplished performer, having played in various bands and gigs throughout my career. Whether you are a beginner starting your musical journey or an intermediate player looking to refine your skills, I am committed to providing you with personalised instructions to help you reach your full musical potential. During these lessons, you will learn essential techniques such as strumming, fingerpicking, chord progressions, scales and songwriting, as well as teaching you how to play your favourite songs. You will have the opportunity to explore multiple genres, including rock, pop, blues, jazz and classical, and gain an understanding of music theory and how it applies to guitar playing.
