About Effie
Teaching exists because I enjoy watching students move from confusion to clarity. You currently struggle with visualization, but I have 11 years of experience solving those exact problems.
My MSc in Pure Mathematics from Stanford helps me teach the logic behind every move. I work with students who need weekly curated puzzle sets to sharpen their skills.
I focus on game analysis, pawn structures, and opening principles to build your foundation. Chess is a game of logic. I am here to help you win.

Sitting down for a session involves reviewing your recent games to pinpoint exactly where the blunders occurred. I record and notate your moves to build better habits for tournament preparation. My approach relies on 11 years of experience in high-level math and chess. We prioritize calculation and attacking play during every meeting.
I also integrate tactical patterns to ensure you remain sharp. Speed. Your improvement is my priority as we refine your decision-making process. I look forward to building your chess skills.
