About Ava
Graduating with a First-Class Joint Honours degree in Sustainable Development and Social Anthropology from the University of St Andrews, I later earned an MSc in Sustainability, Energy, and Development with distinction from Durham University. Within my studies, I explored a wide range of interdisciplinary theories, concepts, and real-world challenges relating to energy, development, decolonisation and much more, critically analysing sustainability issues from both environmental and social perspectives. I am passionate about understanding complex global systems, challenging conventional ideas, and finding innovative solutions for a more sustainable future. As a highly experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated academic and researcher, I aim to bring this passion into my teaching. My lessons are engaging, interactive, and designed to encourage critical thinking while building your confidence. Whether you're looking to strengthen your subject knowledge, refine your analytical skills, or prepare for exams, I will provide tailored support to help you progress and achieve your goals.
