About Hallie
I’m a math tutor with more than 4 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science. Most of my students are middle school learners who struggle with early algebra. I place a huge emphasis on linear equations, polynomial expressions, and basic function understanding. I love showing students how each new skill connects to the bigger picture. My sessions are filled with puzzles and games that make thinking fun. We also use real-life scenarios, like shopping or sports data, to give algebra meaning. I’ve worked with a wide range of learning styles, and I adjust constantly. Visual learners receive diagrams. Verbal learners get lots of discussion time. Some students need movement, and that’s okay too. I see math anxiety every week, and I know how to ease it slowly. By building trust and structure, confidence grows. I feel proud to help students believe in their own abilities. I want every student to see algebra as something enjoyable, doable, and exciting!

My teaching method focuses on helping students understand the logic behind maths. I guide them through linear, algebraic, calculus, and geometry problems step by step. Students learn to trust the process slowly. With my guidance, they grow into confident thinkers who enjoy mathematics.
