About Rhena
Whether you're preparing for exams, building confidence, or just want to fall in love with learning again — let’s do it together! Teaching for me is all about storytelling, self-expression, and helping my students find their own voice — whether in a poem, presentation, or an essay.
Since 2022, I’ve had the joy of helping students grow into confident learners, capable thinkers, and passionate individuals. As an IB Diploma graduate with a love for History, Literature, and Business Studies, I know firsthand what it’s like to juggle deadlines and decipher command terms whilst still finding the space to spark creativity, engagement, and learning. My passion for education goes far beyond the classroom; I believe learning should feel exciting, empowering, and enriching. Whether I’m guiding a student through a complex business theory, breaking down the causes of war, or helping craft a punchy poem, I bring an infectious energy, empathy, and a personalised approach to every session!
I'm also the creator behind a poetry platform that’s empowered me to share my voice and connect with people around the world. From open mics to public speaking events, my varied experiences and exposure has shaped my teaching methods.
Outside of tutoring, you’ll find me exploring new wellness practices, reading historical memoirs, diving into entrepreneurial podcasts, or getting lost in the creativity of travel and the Arts. These interests enable me to connect with students from all walks of life, and bring fresh, real-world insight to my teaching. I am always keen to learn and grow, thus I approach every lesson as a two-way street — one where we grow, challenge ideas, and celebrate progress together. I’m here to help you not only succeed, but to thrive!

My Business Management lessons are are student-led and supportive, designed to help you understand core Business concepts and develop the analytical and exam skills needed to excel in IB and IGCSE exams. We will focus on practical strategies that build confidence and help you achieve your best results.
Together, we’ll explore topics such as marketing, finance, operations, and human resources, breaking down complex ideas into practical, real-world examples. The session focus can vary from strengthening your ability to apply theory to case studies, to writing well-structured essays, to tackling exam questions confidently.
Whether you’re aiming to improve your grades or build a solid foundation in Business, I will tailor our session to suit your individual needs and learning style, providing clear explanations, targeted practice, and ongoing support!
