About Kathryn
I'm a highly qualified and capable tutor with a passion for English language and literature. I enjoy teaching all ages and will devise personalised and motivational lessons. I graduated with a first class degree from Oxford University and have a PhD in modern literature. I also hold a Cambridge University accredited CELTA qualification (Pass B) in teaching English as a foreign language.
My students have achieved high grades, exceeded expectations, and described my lessons as, 'informative, extremely well-prepared and thoroughly enjoyable'. I have 3 years experience in tutoring at A-Level and degree level, and am now returning to freelance teaching full time after several years in the museum sector. I am currently based with my husband and young daughter in Budapest, and available for online lessons only outside of Hungary.

Perfect! Extremely helpful
Kathryn helped me improve the quality of my essay work in an extremely short amount of time. After just a few sessions with her I was able to improve from a B grade to an A grade. She is clear and concise in her advice allowing easy improvement. I very much recommend her!
