About Rosie
Teaching French for the past 3 years has been a study in how language reveals thought. With a degree in International Relations with French, I bring a global perspective to each lesson. Authentic materials—news, podcasts, interviews—form the basis of my teaching. They allow students to hear modern French as it’s actually spoken. Through them, we practice pronunciation, pacing, and the fluidity of natural speech. I love guiding learners toward confidence in both listening and speaking. Many of my students are analysts and researchers seeking to use French in meaningful contexts. Together, we explore the interplay between language, culture, and interpretation. Each class combines intellectual depth with practical skill-building. I value discussion as much as accuracy. My approach nurtures fluency that’s thoughtful and expressive. I aim to create a relaxed, engaging environment where mistakes are part of progress. Every topic connects language with culture, especially around French gastronomy. By the end of each class, you’ll feel more confident and fluent. Together, we’ll make learning French a flavorful journey.
