About Oscar
I am a passionate Flute tutor with 14 years of teaching experience, offering lessons to school-level students, college learners, and working professionals. Over the 14 years, I have helped students build strong flute techniques and musical confidence.
My teaching philosophy is centered on personal attention and steady progress. I believe every student can learn music with the right guidance and encouragement. Lessons are carefully planned according to the student’s ability.
My flute lessons focus on proper breathing, posture correction, tone balance, finger techniques, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. I also teach music theory and sight-reading to improve musical understanding. Advanced learners receive performance-focused guidance.
One of my proud achievements is helping students perform confidently in school programs, college events, and music evaluations. Many students have developed discipline and long-term interest in music.
My goal is to make music learning enjoyable while helping students grow as confident and expressive flute players.

I teach flute with a student-focused approach that emphasizes understanding, practical examples, and effective communication. Real-life examples and case studies make lessons engaging and meaningful. I focus on understanding each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style, adapting lessons to meet their needs.
Communication is central; I encourage students to ask questions, discuss ideas, and reflect on their progress. Integrity is at the core of my teaching—I provide honest feedback while supporting students in reaching their goals. Along with flute practice, I also teach music theory, rhythm, ear training, and performance techniques, giving students a well-rounded musical education. This methodology helps students grow technically, creatively, and confidently.
