About Kyla
I have been substitute teaching for about 5+ years. I have even more years tutoring. I enjoy watching those I help begin to understand as well as become even more encouraged. I have a bachelor's degree and some master classes in teaching instruction and education. I also have taken some TEFL and TESOL courses as well. I have enjoyed working in grades as young as preschool up to adult classes where I taught English language development as well as GED math. I look forward to being more of a helpful person and providing customer service to even more people who need it.

I really enjoy what I do. I not only teach and tutor information but I take the time to learn as well what is the best approach to meet you where you are with your learning. I have learned about differentiation in different school as well as course spaces that I was in. Differentiation means that I take the necessary time to assess the unique learning style and level of each of my students. From those learning styles and levels, I begin to formulate some ideas of how I can better help them in their learning based on their personality, grasp of concepts, and style of learning. Some students are visual learners and need more pictures while others are auditory learners and need me to repeat things many different ways as well as slowly for them to also understand what I am saying.
