About Anna
I am an enthusiastic tutor with a robust academic and extracurricular background. I completed high school with a 4.7 GPA, which taught me the significance of academic achievement and effective time management. Currently, I am studying psychology at Virginia Tech, where I am also broadening my knowledge of social and emotional learning—an approach I deeply value in my tutoring and coaching methods.

While near my home, I provided one-on-one tutoring to elementary school children, employing various teaching techniques emphasizing active learning. I frequently applied a flipped classroom model, encouraging students to interact with new content outside the conventional framework and inspiring them to become self-sufficient learners. I also transformed education into an engaging and enjoyable experience by integrating games, puzzles, and demonstrations, ensuring the lessons remained centered on the students.
