About Heather
I graduated as an honour roll student with an above 80% average. I studied both Social Work and Psychology at the University level. I have 3 years of tutoring experience with excellent feedback from all my students. Teaching is a gift I have and it comes very naturally to me. I take the time to understand my students needs. I let them speak and tell me what their intentions are moving forward. I also let my own intentions be heard. Only after we come to an agreement together, in terms of learning goals, will the learning process begin.

Each student is unique and I adapt well to everyone’s needs. I listen to what they need from me and I proceed accordingly with my lessons. I learn the specific learning styles of each of my students and I move at their own required pace. I value time and I do not intend to waste anyones time. This goes for my own time, as well as, my students time. That means, I begin by understanding my students with much detail. Moving forward depends on what I come to know when we interact.
