I studied Music at Colchester Institute and went on to graduate with a degree in Music Education with QTS from London Metropolitan University.
I have 10 years experience teaching Music in Secondary schools. Since January 2018 I have been working as a Music specialist in a Primary school, which is vastly different but a fantastic experience to widen my teaching capability. I have an excellent knowledge of the Music GCSE syllabus for most of the exam boards. I have taught A-level EdExcel Music and GCSE English, assisting students with coursework submission. I enjoy composition and listening to film music. Music has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember, so to be able to pass on my skills and knowledge to others is very rewarding. When students learn and make progress I am very happy.
