About Sydney
Since I have taken Latin for so long, I have a deep understanding of the language, and my background in classical history has given me the skills to teach while culturally informed. I find my passion in Latin and I believe that an understanding of the language will not only challenge you in a way you have never seen before, but also strengthen your command of the English language as well.

I am currently pursuing a major in Classics at Vanderbilt University, and have been learning Latin and Classical Culture for 11 years!
I was taught Latin grammar using the Memoria Press Form Series, and I think it is the perfect textbook for a beginner because it teaches in a modern way at a basic level.
Before we meet I will send optional notes on the topics that will be covered during the lesson, and then when we meet I will briefly go over the topic of the day and then work through some practice exercises and challenge questions.
My lessons are for anyone taking a high school or lower-level Latin or Classical History class, or for anyone who is interested in broadening their knowledge!
