About Narcisa
I was born in Romania, but I have lived in Italy since I was 5 years old. In Italy I attended primary, secondary and high school, where I started my journey within the framework of languages. I attended the “Liceo Classico Giuseppe Govone” which allowed me to obtain a B2 level in the French language and also the French Baccalaureate (14/15) alongside the Italian Maturità Classica (82/100) through ESABAC project. Following my interest in languages, I chose the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation (FTI) of the University of Geneva. In addition, according to the study plan of this university, I attended King's College London last year where I intensified my skills in English and this allowed me to obtain the C1 level. During my years in high school, I always gave Italian and French grammar lessons, Latin, Greek and also English lessons. Then, when I started my year at King's I decided to offer myself as a "Speaking practice volunteer": that I spoke in Italian with others who wanted to learn the language. This experience allowed me to understand how to work with people with different levels and how to prepare specific lessons through a training session given by King's. Continuing this journey, I decided to apply to become a tutor at ARA, where I give repetitions of Italian and English every week.

Depending on the level of the student, I prepare my course in advance. I prefer to start with an explanation of grammatical and cultural concepts and then continue with exercises. I think that a good atmosphere is synonymous with good work and, for this reason, I always encourage the student and I try not to be pressured. In case you need to prepare an exam, I make a list of all the arguments to study, I prepare exercises and I help the student to study and revise, always creating an active atmosphere.
