About Jamie
I have been involved in sports my whole life so have always found a liking to this subject and thus it has been my favourite subject all throughout school. The main reason I would like to teach is because during school I never had much motivation to revise and learn because I did not know what worked for me and always found it boring, however being at university has allowed me to adapt and study in ways that suit me. If I had realised this in school I could have potentially done even better than I did so I would like to tutor so other people can achieve better and find a good pathway in life.

My style of tutoring would be for people who are like me and may struggle to find techniques and/or motivation for revision, so my sessions would be around an hour long and involve interactive learning to fully grasp attention and ensure progress in the subject. I have tutored people locally to where I am originally from on the subject, mainly being peers who went to my school who may have struggled. I am happy to give lessons to people of any age who are studying Physical Education at GCSE or A Level.

Jamie is very knowledgeable about sport and physical education with his history in football and proficiency at many sports; he’ll have lots of experience to pass onto students. At school, he performed highly in GCSE and A-Level PE assessments and was in high standing with the PE department. Furthermore, he is generally chilled out and approachable so I believe tutees will feel comfortable with him.
