About Funmi
I am a current masters student at teeside university studying PGCE Secoundary Mathematics. I did my MSC in business and HR at Northumbria University .I did my Bcsin Accounting at Northumbria university .
While in Nigeria i worked as a mathematics and Business teacher for different secondary schools . After doing my CIPD and working in admin field i figured i needed to go back to something that i am passionate about hence why i have gone back to do my masters to broaden my horizon. and continue with teaching . Teaching has always been where my strength is I thrive when i am able to impact students

I adapt my approach based on the students learning needs . I focus on understanding the learning style pace and area of difficulties . focus on using visual aids, real life and to model the questions and break down concepts to aid easy understanding . I use the communicative approach Task-based teaching and questioning .Feedback and Retrieval is also an aspect i take seriously .
