About Sofia
Hi! I’m Sofia, and I’d love to help you learn English.
I’m 15 years old and I live in California. I’ve been speaking, reading, and writing in English for over 8 years, so I’m confident and fluent. I teach in a simple and fun way, using easy books, grammar games, and stories to help beginners feel comfortable with the language.
Even though I’m young, I take my role as a tutor seriously. I prepare for every lesson, speak clearly, and explain things step-by-step. I’m very patient and always happy to answer questions. Whether you're a child or an adult just starting English, I’ll make sure you feel supported and encouraged.
My goal is to help you feel confident in English, one small step at a time.

How I Teach
I use children’s books and simple grammar books to help you learn. We read stories, learn new words, and play games to practice English. I make sure everything is easy to understand.
What a Lesson Looks Like
Quick Chat – We start by talking a little, like “How are you?”
Story Time – We read a short book together. I help with new words.
Grammar Practice – We learn one grammar rule (like “is” and “are”) and do a fun activity.
Game or Song – We end with something fun to help you remember.
