About Samuel
Good morning all ! After obtaining a literary bac with a Very Good mention, I joined Sciences Po Paris in 2017. Since then, I have been organizing each year preparation sessions for the Sciences Po competition, but also support in Philosophy and methodology. I helped twenty students in two years: they all had very different levels and objectives, to which I knew how to adapt. I am currently in an exchange year in Taiwan: I therefore offer a large number of lesson schedules via webcam!

Having passed the bac in 2017, I still have in mind that for many students, the difficulty is not learning knowledge, but rather the methodology. However, that of the baccalaureate in philosophy is quite specific ... but not at all insurmountable! During the lessons, we will approach the methodology of text commentary and dissertation, dissecting them step by step. Ultimately, you will be able to: 1. Organize your draft efficiently and without wasting time 2. Select the relevant knowledge related to the subject 3. Build a coherent plan and find a suitable problem 4. Write an introduction and a conclusion to delimit the subject 5. To structure your paragraphs clearly, to meet the expectations of the corrector and above all ... to manage your time so that you can finish everything without nervousness (and even read it again!). To achieve these objectives, I put at your disposal methods which have proven themselves ... because these are the ones that I myself used to pass the written competition of Sciences Po Paris (history / English / philosophy tests ) and get the mention very well in the Literary Bac. This approach aims to respond to the obstacles most often encountered by students: - The cards are often confusing -> I will explain how to build detailed but concise cards - A lack of practice which generates stress during the exam - > I will give you as many white (and oral) exams as necessary, each time with comments and prospects for improvement as well as a correction - Revisions at the last minute -> I will help you build a schedule of revisions adapted to your schedule, which will allow you to cover the entire program on time. With a view to maximum availability, I offer several tens of hours per week, while allowing you to cancel a course at any time. If you decide to choose an accompaniment to the bac, you can contact me by email at any time of the week. I guarantee a response within 48 hours, and within 24 hours the week of the exams.
