About Abbie
I am a student at Nottingham Trent University studying English and History. After my degree, I will be doing my teacher training year to earn my QTS making me a secondary school teacher, something that I have always wanted to do. Coming from a family of teachers, I have already been introduced to teaching as a profession and some of the key skills needed to help pupils succeed. I am highly academic achieving high grades in my GCSEs, A-levels and continuing this through in my degree. I am highly organised and a caring individual who is patient and welcoming. I am passionate about education and ensuring every student has the same opportunities to achieve highly and gain the best possible outcome from education.

As an ambitious tutor who after my degree will be qualifying as a secondary school teacher, I appreciate the importance of getting to know the student. My aim is to know the student, know how they learn and their weaknesses and then forming a tailored plan to each student. This is possible to include varied lengths depending on what is best for the student and how they work best whether this be shorter or longer sessions. To summarise, times of sessions can vary and change. Tutoring is available for all age groups under 18 including GCSE and A-levels.
