About George
I'm a 22-year-old Mathematics graduate from the University of Oxford. I tutor Maths at all levels — KS3, GCSE, A-level — and help with Oxbridge admissions prep (MAT, STEP, and interviews), having recently been through the process successfully myself. Studying at Oxford meant learning through weekly one-to-one tutorials, so I know exactly how powerful personalised teaching can be, and it's the approach I bring to every student I work with.

My lessons start with finding exactly where your understanding breaks down, then rebuilding from solid foundations — no memorising methods you don't understand. A typical session mixes clear explanation, worked examples, and plenty of practice with you doing the maths, not just watching me. For exam students, I focus on past papers, mark-scheme technique, and the common traps examiners set. For admissions students, I run mock interviews and work through MAT/STEP-style problems, teaching you how to think aloud and tackle problems you've never seen before. Lessons are patient, friendly, and built around your pace — my goal is that you leave each session more confident than you started.
