About LUCAS
The experience of having heavy grammar classes and not use it for real is frustrating and tiring. I had this experience myself, where i was exposed to so many grammar rules with non practical use in everyday life, and I felt frustrated for not being able to talk to natives or understand them either. After understanding that acquiring a language was more effective than just understanding it, I was able to take off in my studies and language learning. The effectiveness of this method made me able to participate in events such as the BRICS International School, and speak about my country in English to many people with 100% confidence. This can certainly work for someone learning portuguese or english.

During the time I took English courses, I realized that t i was taugh just heavy grammar that had no practical use in the real world. I strongly believe that the method of acquiring a language is much more effective, which means that, learning a language as it is actually spoken by the natives, is knowing how to communicate, using orality. The best method of learning to expose yourself to the language as much as possible through immersion, that is, through books, newspaper and books. Grammar is important, however, if its practical use in real life is not shown, you didn't learn nothing, most likely will just memorize a new grammar rule. The best way to learn a language is to acquire it, not just memorize thousands of rules. So we have to do an immersion in the language and have fun in the learning process.
