I adapt to the student's functioning and support him as best I can, being aware of his difficulties and his strengths. During the first lesson, I start by seeing with the student what his difficulties and facilities are. try to understand his way of proceeding: I listen to him and I analyze. Then I give him the learning techniques he needs. For the course of a typical course, I prepare it in advance on my own (documents, exercises, summary sheets ...). I start by asking the student what he knows about this lesson (this makes it easier to memorize). If there are any errors I correct it quickly. Then I can teach the lesson, always having the school teacher's lesson in parallel. I give him exercises. I help him do them if needed. Finally, the time comes for the student to tell me what he understood from the lesson but also what he did not understand. Finally, I give him a summary sheet and some exercises to do for next time. If necessary, I can be reached during the week.
