About Elemela
I’m a passionate nutrition educator with a strong academic and clinical background. I completed my B.Sc. in Applied Nutrition & Public Health M.Sc. in Applied Nutrition & Dietetics. I have hands-on clinical experience, having worked at TX Hospitals for 6 months, where I was involved in therapeutic nutrition planning and patient counseling. Currently, I’m working as a Research Investigator at ICMR–NIN (National Institute of Nutrition), where I’ve been contributing to national-level nutrition research for the past 6 months. What truly drives me is the joy of teaching and simplifying complex nutrition concepts. I believe that learning should be clear, practical, and empowering, and I love helping students build strong foundations in subjects like therapeutic nutrition, food science, and nutritional assessment. These classes are designed for students pursuing B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Nutrition & Dietetics, or those looking for a crash course in core nutrition subjects.
I cover a wide range of essential topics including:
Nutritional Assessment (dietary recall, anthropometry, clinical signs)
Therapeutic Nutrition (diet planning for diabetes, renal, liver, GI disorders, PCOD, etc.)
Food Science and Basic Nutrition (macronutrients, micronutrients, food processing, food safety)
Public Health Nutrition (ICDS, mid-day meals, deficiency diseases, nutrition policies)
My teaching style is simplified and student-friendly, with the use of presentations, visuals, charts, and clinical case examples to make complex topics easier to understand.
