About Zayn
My name is Zayn Bandukwalla and I am a student at Emory University studying business and political science. I have tutored for nearly four years and taught hundreds of students across Maryland. I focus on developing effective studying techniques, which I used in high school to get a 1570 on my SAT and a 4.9 GPA. By emphasizing the process of learning rather than just memorization, I believe that it is much easier to succeed in the classroom.

I started my tutoring career during Covid-19, where I offered online services to students across Maryland that were having difficulty with virtual school. This experience helped me discover my passion for teaching, and led me to found a public speaking class for local elementary schools.
My involvement in both of those programs helped me understand the importance of being adaptable to student needs. By working with parents and listening to feedback, I try my best to cooperate with students and find strategies that work best for them.
I teach kids from 3rd to 10th grade, and specialize in English in Math. If there are any specific worksheets/lessons that you want me to go over, please send them over a couple hours before the lesson. If you have any questions/concerns, please feel free to contact me!
