About Serena
I am a student in Master-Asia (East Asian studies and international relations) at the University of Geneva and at IHEID. I finished a Bachelor in Psychology in Fribourg where I had the chance to also study psycholinguistics, the history of the French language and its origins. I write since childhood by passion and I participated in many writing contests (poetry, short stories, philosophical argumentation) including one where I obtained the place of Swiss finalist. I have already given French tutoring courses for secondary school students and refugees who want to learn French to better integrate into society.

My method is quite free in cooperation with the wishes of the student and the areas he or she wants to improve. I mainly base myself on the way I learned French myself in primary, secondary, i.e. with grammar books, vocabulary lists, exercises, etc. But also by using all possible resources, for example song lyrics, video, books or small texts, free conversation, etc. It is important that the student learns while having fun and learning things that passionate him!
