About Mary
I am a college student at Berry College located in Rome GA. I am also a student-athlete as I am the first Beach volleyball-only athlete here on campus and am determined to not only lead the team academically but athletically. I have played beach volleyball since I was 11 years old and enjoy learning and teaching different people. Leadership is a main attribution I have as I have led many groups to national championships with being in the top pair. I enjoy teaching people important topics and enjoy having fun while learning them as the more fun it is the better you grasp something fully.

I have ways of teaching hands-on learning and ways to help a kid fully understand the concept they are being taught. Throughout my high school and college career many professors expect you to just grasp the concept right off a PowerPoint, and I believe we need a little more in-depth understanding of what we are learning. I would love to teach k-12 and math and science would be my focus but am strong in others like English and history.
