About Rohail
Hi! I’m Rohail — an Organic Chemistry tutor (CHE 2603) with one year of certified experience helping students master OChem I through clear explanations, real-world examples, and structured practice. I’m a senior Biology major at UTSA with a minor in Psychology, and I currently work as a STARS Tutor and Floor Tutor for Organic Chemistry. I’ve supported hundreds of students across multiple semesters through exam prep, reaction mechanisms, synthesis strategies, and confidence-building problem-solving methods. I am CRLA Level III certified, meaning I’m trained in effective tutoring strategies that help students learn faster and perform better on exams. I went to his Floor hours at UTSA many times during the last semester, I usually am really shy and dont ask too many questions but he made it sure that I understood every concept. I only started going after mid sem, and I really wished I started going earlier as the change in my grades are clearly visible. I would highly suggest taking him for this course.
I use to go his sessions in person at UTSA, during his STARS session and also during his floor hours, he is truly amazing at what he does and he's the only reason I passed O chem 1. I would highly recc taking his sessions whenever you can find his availability.
I have found him professional and skilled, always on time and friendly.
