My tutoring style is all about helping students actually understand maths, not just memorise steps. I explain topics clearly and break them down step by step, adjusting my explanations to suit how each student learns. If something doesn’t make sense straight away, I’m always happy to explain it again in a different way until it clicks. I’m confident in my teaching and very patient and supportive. I work especially well with students who find maths difficult, feel unmotivated, or lack confidence. I always stay calm and encouraging, and I focus on helping students believe in themselves and feel more comfortable with maths. Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on what works best for the student. Sessions normally involve going over tricky topics, practising questions together, and building confidence through guided support. I tutor SATs and GCSE maths students, helping with homework, exam preparation, and improving overall understanding and confidence in maths.
