About Marina
Yes, it's me! The ex-nerd girl who used to give flash lessons to the entire class before tests and made everyone come out with an A. Now I've decided to make it professional.
I have a high school degree and an incomplete superior education (in History, as well as Visual Arts). I study design, and also Creative Writing and Screenwriting (I write fiction, and will soon be a published writer). I am fluent in english (both writing and conversation). I love History (yes! You can love History!) and Geopolitics. Let's go do some learning!

I approach the humanities in a ludic, but critical way, first studying the material provided by the student and then approaching it in a way they can understand, which is to say: I humanize it as best as I can. I teach History as the story it is, with characters who want specific things from each other and that will take specific actions to get what they want. I always ask the questions: "Who is telling the story". "Who benefits from the story?" "Who's being left out of the story?" "Why?". My goal isn't to make the student memorize a ton of meaningless names and dates, but rather to make they understand the real meaning of this information naturally, through absorption of the material.
