State certified in New Jersey, have taught for 7 years at the middle school level (6-8th grade). I typically work in small groups in a I Do, We Do, You Do format, in which students will see me do the work/explain of expectations, then studnets will practice either together or on their own with checks, and then students will work independently with an overall check at the end.
I can work on essay writing, ELA test prep, and reading skills as many of those skills are transferable from ELA lesson planning. I also can reinforce any material being taught at school, which extra practice - geography, civics, US History, and ancient history.
