About Karli
My name is Karli, and I've been playing chess since the age of 4. Chess has always been a passion, and I really enjoy teaching others. I've been coaching chess for a few years now, and I've helped students reach tournament level.

I like to coach in a way that makes it fun for the student and not like a chore. I adapt easily to different playstyles, and I'm good at teaching different tactics, openings, and general gameplay such as middlegame and endgame. I can coach fluently in English and Afrikaans.
In a lesson I'll determine your skill level and then work out a lesson plan that best tailors to your needs and weak points. Throughout lessons you'll be comfortable with different tactics, openings, and playing high-level chess.
My lessons are aimed at beginners to intermediates primarily, but I can also do advanced lessons.
