About Lakshmi
I am a passionate English Literature tutor with a strong background in acting and text analysis, which gives me a unique approach to teaching. I specialize in helping students break down complex texts in a clear and engaging way, so they don’t feel lost or overwhelmed.
Having worked with students of different ages and abilities, I understand that every student learns differently. I am patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence, especially for students who feel unsure about Literature.
I want to teach because I’ve seen how frustrating Literature can be when it’s taught as memorization. My goal is to help students actually understand what they are reading, think critically, and express their ideas clearly — skills that go beyond just exams.
