About Martin
I became a teacher because I wanted to become the teacher that I needed as a student growing up. Though my first language as a child was Spanish, I graduated with my bachelor's in English and took no breaks to get into my master's program in English & Writing Studies. Easier said than done, but I believe everyone has innate abilities to achieve their goals with the right tools and the persevering outlook. Through this same process, I aim to make sessions an enriching experience to look forward to and work with my students to ensure mastery and success!

My goal in the lessons we explore is to make it relatable and memorable. The key is to have something to reflect back on and remember "Yes! I remember this from the comic project we worked on!" in order to ensure what we learnedcan be recalled to later on at the glance of a word.
