I am also a semi-professional musician and hobby game developer. I’ve played in bands at Glastonbury festival (amongst others) and have had my music used in adverts and other media. I love travelling and reading science-fiction novels and am an ardent supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

Having attended Harrow as a child, I know what it’s like to attend a fiercely competitive school and the hard work it takes to get there, so I will, in turn, work hard to make sure my students achieve their goals in the same way. A considerable part of this is identifying key areas of difficulty for a student and then giving them the proper direction and self-belief to overcome them.
As someone who still loves to learn and take up new challenges, I aim to engage and inspire my students to the best of my ability. I believe that cultivating good relationships with my students is just as crucial as delivering practical lessons and interventions, and I will always give good communication and feedback.
Most of my experience lies in teaching at the KS2 and KS3 level, but I also have experience with Common Entrance and 11+. During my time as a teacher I consistently delivered ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ lessons and was rated as ‘excellent’ in my professional conduct.
