About Emily A

My experience in both education and behavior analysis allows me to approach each student as an individual and adjust instruction based on their academic, behavioral, and learning needs.

I am a Special Education teacher and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Florida International University (FIU). I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Capella University.
My teaching approach is patient, individualized, and student-centered. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to each learner’s strengths, needs, and learning style. I incorporate evidence-based teaching strategies, positive reinforcement, modeling, repetition, visual supports, and step-by-step instruction to make learning engaging and achievable.
