Marko is one of our best Spanish tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Marko

I am a recent graduate of Newcastle University, where I studied Spanish and Latin American languages, linguistics, and culture throughout my degree. I have a particular interest in Colombian music, and culture as well as Argentinian rock music as I am a drummer myself. My girlfriend is Venezuelan so happy to teach their accent and share recipes!

About the lesson

Excellent conversational practice along with grammar and reading practice. We will analyse Spanish and Latin American films, food, music and dance. I lived in Cádiz during my year abroad so love Andalusian culture and their laid back attitude to life. Offering A level and GCSE preparation and lessons for all language levels.

I've been training with Marko as an intermediate player, and the improvement in my game has been fantastic. He has helped me significantly refine my single-handed backhand technique and improve my footwork through a variety of engaging and effective drills. The sessions are always enjoyable, with plenty of cross-court and down-the-line exercises that keep training challenging and fun. Marko explains techniques clearly, provides constructive feedback, and creates a positive learning environment. His enthusiasm for tennis is infectious, and every lesson feels productive. I would highly recommend Marko to anyone looking to improve their tennis skills.

Marko's lessons were extremely useful for my serve and backhand which needed a lot of work. Every lesson, we started with some fun games to warm up which differed from a lot of other coaches I've had. He is a very polite and friendly young man!
