My approach to teaching English is centered on creating a comfortable, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence while developing practical communication skills. I believe that students learn best when they have plenty of opportunities to use English in meaningful conversations rather than simply memorizing rules and vocabulary.
Teaching Method and Techniques
I use a student-centered and communicative approach. I adjust my teaching style according to each student's English level, learning goals, and areas that need improvement. My lessons may include guided conversations, role-plays, vocabulary-building activities, pronunciation practice, grammar explanations, and question-and-answer exercises. I provide corrections and constructive feedback while encouraging students to express themselves naturally and confidently.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up conversation to help the student feel comfortable and get into an English-speaking mindset. We then move on to the main lesson, which may focus on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or a specific topic chosen according to the student's goals. I encourage students to speak as much as possible and provide corrections and explanations when necessary. We usually finish with a review of key expressions or areas for improvement and suggestions for continued practice.
What Sets Me Apart
I am patient, approachable, and attentive to each student's individual needs. I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes because mistakes are an important part of learning a language. I also focus on helping students become more confident and independent communicators, not just on getting every grammar point perfect.
